For over a decade, The Naghash Ensemble has been on an incredible journey reviving ancient Armenian texts and setting them to new music. Our ensemble brings together seven of Armenia's finest musicians, weaving together duduk, oud, dhol, piano, and three fascinating female vocalists to create a sound that's part new classical music and part world music, rooted in the past with an eye to the future.
We've been fortunate to perform on stages across Europe and North America, from grand concert halls to intimate venues. But our mission goes beyond just performing — we're dedicated to creating a new Armenian musical culture which is mindful of tradition but always evolving.
